Hezonia on Partizan: “I see myself there, but at the same time I don’t”

THE Mario Hezonia was a protagonist in a big transfer “serial”, as his contract with Real was completed and his name “played” for many teams, although he eventually renewed with “queen”.

One of the groups interested in his case was the They were partisans. In an interview with Serbian ‘Telegraf’, the Croatian star was asked if he could see himself playing for the black and white club at some point in his career.

He refused to give clear answeralthough he did not hide his admiration for him Zeljko Obradovic and the very positive impression that the communication between them made on him.

In detail what he said:

“How can I answer that now? I see myself there, but at the same time I don’t see him. These are difficult questions with no easy answers, but I am grateful for them. I’m a bit anti-social, but I’ve never enjoyed a phone conversation as much as when I spoke to Zeljko Obradovic.

It was incredible. This man is so relaxed and it’s like he’s made of gold. What he has achieved and contributed to European basketball is remarkable. I am deeply grateful to him, not only for this summer but for everything. He was always approachable, knew how to hug me and told me things every player needs to hear from a great coach. I am grateful to both him and Zoran Savic.”
