Liverpool legend Ron Yeats has died

The Scottish former captain of Liverpool breathed his last at the age of 86. Ron Yeatsas her club announced today (7/9). Premier League.

The deceased joined the force of the “reds” in 1961, coming from Dundee Unitedand wore the captain’s armband of the famous team for eight seasons. Only the Steven Gerrard he has captained the “reds” for more games.

Liverpool announced that Yeats, who was an international with the Scotland national team, died on Friday night, while in January it was known that he had been suffering from Alzheimer’s. “The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool are with Ron’s wife Ann, all his family and friends at this incredibly sad time.” says the Merseyside club in its relevant announcement.
