Cedi Osman was born on April 8, 1995, he is 2.01m tall. and competes in the forward positions. The Turkish ace has played for seven seasons in the NBA, where he averaged 9.3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 495 games.

He started playing basketball in Bosnia and specifically in the infrastructure divisions of KK Bosna and in 2007 he moved to Anadolu Efes. Until 2011 he continued to play in the minor teams of Anadolu Efes, before being loaned for two seasons to Pertevniyal.

In 2013 he returned to Anadolu Efes where he played for four years, even participating in the Euroleague (6.5 ppg and 2.9 ppg on average). With the Turkish team, he won the Turkish Cup and Super Cup in 2015. In the summer of the same year, he was selected in the 31st place in the NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who traded his rights to the Cleveland Cavaliers on the same day.

Finally, his move to the world’s top league took place in July 2017, when he signed a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He remained there for six seasons, of which in terms of numbers he was the second (2018-2019), where in 76 games he averaged 13 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

Osman was a member of Turkey’s “minor” national teams from a young age, participating in the following events: the 2011 European U16 Championship, the 2012 European U18 Championship, the 2012 Albert Schweitzer Tournament, where he won the bronze medal and was named the most Talented Player, at the 2013 European U18 Championship, where he won the gold medal, and at the 2014 European U20 Championship, where he also won the gold medal and was named MVP of the tournament.
