Rally Acropolis: Thierry Neville dominates and embraces the title of champion

One step closer to the WRC champion title came Thierry Neville! The Belgian driver was the absolute ruler in the Akropolis Rally, winning for the second time in his career on… Greek soil and now embraces the championship after being +34 behind second-placed Sébastien Ozier.

Hyundai’s Neville finished first in today’s stage, while Ozier saw his Toyota roll over and it was Sordo who finished second by over a minute and a half. Estonian Tanak completed the top three, while Panagiotis Rustemis (Skoda Fabia RS) was the fastest Greek driver, finishing 12th, 20min 24sec behind Neville.

At the same time, Iordanis Serderidis with the factory Ford Puma Rally 1 Hybrid took 14th place overall, 23 minutes and 6.2 seconds behind the Belgian.
