“The Kifissia Volleyball Sports Club announces the start of its collaboration with the athlete Lucas Victor Rangel, for the 2024-2025 season.
The Brazilian superstar (29/10/1990, 2.10 m.) does not need special introductions, as he has written in “golden letters” his own history in Greece and abroad, winning the Volley League championship 3 times (2015,2020) , 2022), 4 League Cups (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024), a Greek Cup (2015), a Super Cup (2022) and a Brazilian Championship (2012). In 2020, the Seleção international was named the top center of the Greek league.
This is certainly one of the biggest transfers in the history of our club, which includes an athlete of international renown. Of decisive importance were the initial contacts made with the athlete, the general leader of the team of the northern suburbs, Dimitris Papadopoulos.
Lucas Victor Rangel, in his first statements as a Kifissia athlete, emphasized: “I am very happy that this year I will be playing with the jersey of Kifissia, a team with a tradition in Greek volleyball. I am sure that we will have a strong year and by working hard together with my teammates and the technical staff we will be able to achieve our goals! In the contacts I had with the president of the team, Mr. Papadopoulos, I saw his love for volleyball and his goals for Kifissia, something that “counted” in my decision”.
