In his confession on his show Gary Lineker Oleksandr Zinchenko referred to the difficult times his country and his compatriots are going through in Ukraine from the attacks launched by Russia.
“I keep crying … Everything is on my mind all the time. The places I grew up, my homeland, all areas. I could show you videos and photos of what the Russians have destroyed. My compatriots survive, starve and sleep in shelters “mentions -initially- the ace of Manchester City and adds while admitting that it has crossed his mind to enlist in the Ukrainian army but his family and daughter are an important… deterrent.
“We must stop the war. If I did not have my daughter and my family I would be there to fight on the side of my compatriots. I know the mentality of the citizens of Ukraine and they will never surrender. They will fight to the end. I’m proud of them and will be proud of them for the rest of my life. They prefer the Ukrainians to die rather than surrender to the enemy“, He states.
“I’m just crying. I promise you, I’m just crying.”
Oleksandr Zinchenko has thanked the world for standing with Ukraine in an emotional interview about the Russian invasion of his homeland.
