The stones “cracked” for Ruxi Dumitrescu on the Avenue!
Almost six months since her sudden death, Panathinaikos fans flocked to the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” indoor gym to honor the memory of the iconic captain of the women’s volleyball team, who “gone” on March 3, 2024.

The lights came on and the banner with Ruxi Dumitrescu’s jersey made its appearance to the sounds of the club’s anthem. Seconds later he took his place on the roof of “Pavlos” Giannakopoulos, in the midst of apotheosis.
