New case for Everton, in a… carbon way! Although – as with Bournemouth – the “sweets” led 2-0 in Birmingham, they saw Aston Villa return with a mythical twist to reach the victory with a score 3-2in the “Villa Park” match for the 4th matchday of the Premier League.
In a terrific game, with many phases, crossbar, five goals and great pace, Everton took a 2-0 lead against the run of play, scoring through a fine McNeill cross in the 16th minute and Calvert Lewin’s header in the 27th minute.
In the 36th minute, however, the hosts they reactedreducing with Ollie Watkins’ header in the 36th minute. And in the second 45 minutes they did a complete turnaround! With Watkins’ second goal, in the 58th minute, Villa equalized at 2-2, while in the 76th minute, with a terrific shot by Duran, it became 3-2! In the 79th minute, Everton came close to 3-3, but Calvert Lewin’s shot hit the post.
His team Liverpoolwell, he lost second match in a rowin which he took a 2-0 lead and thus finds himself at the bottom of the standings!
