Olympiakos passed comfortably from Nea Smyrni

Olympiakos defeated Milonas 3-0 set Nea Smyrni for the second game of the second phase of the Volley League and was at -2 by the champion Panathinaikos and at -1 by the second PAOK in the special standings, making even more “thriller” the attempt to win the title.

The protagonists of Olympiakos were Payenk and Tepan who were undefeated in the final in all three sets. The two teams will face each other again next Wednesday for the Cup in Renti.

In the first set, Olympiakos, thanks to the mistakes of the hosts, led 10-6. Milonas equalized 19-19 with Chandrinos, Michalovic and Pajenk made it 21-19, Olympiakos kept +2 and with two points by Tepan made it 25-23.

In the second set, with a series of 4-0 from Payenk, Peric, Tepan, Olympiakos led 13-9 and maintained the lead until the end, until Tepan with two points made it 25-22.

In the third set, Milonas led 11-10, but with a series of 3-0 from the block, Olympiakos overtook 13-11, maintained the lead and Payenk made it 25-23.
