Olympiacos is ready for the next qualifying round of the Men’s Volleyball Champions League. The “red and white” beat Strumica in North Macedonia comfortably 3-0 in the first match of the first qualifying round of the top-ranked European club competition and go to the rematch next Tuesday in Rentis just to formally “seal” the qualification.
Olympiacos led 9-3 with Djuric as the protagonist and Volkov’s efforts for the home team did not bring results, since the “red and white” reached 17-13 after the continuous attacks of Strumitsa and finally 25-15.
In the second set, Olympiacos led 7-3 and 15-6 with Perrin and Atanasievics. Strumitsa tried to reduce, but the Greek champions reached 25-17.
The “red and white” gained a margin of safety in the third set as well and reached the final 25-15.
