PAOK announced Stefanidis

Angelos Stefanidis became a PAOK volleyball player on Wednesday. The amateur “two-headed” announced the acquisition of the 24-year-old Greek passer for the next year, in order to strengthen his passing.

Stefanidis has been competing in Aris for the last two seasons.

In detail, the announcement:

“PAOK and the men’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Angelos Stefanidis, for the 2024-2025 season.

Born on 02/01/2000, Angelos Stefanidis competes as a passer and is 185cm tall.

He took his first steps in volleyball from Heraklis Volleyball 2015 in the 2016-17 season, staying with the Thessaloniki team until the 2019-20 season.

The following season (2020-21) he competed with Elpida Ampelokipi, while the 2021-22 season found him in Crete on behalf of OFI.

In the last competitive seasons he competed in Aris Thessaloniki.

Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Angelos Stefanidis said: “First of all, I wish for health, above all. We are in a club with a… heavy jersey and we will all try to support that, giving 100%. All the stuff and the players are focused on the goals we have set and, day by day, we are finding our ‘steps’.

We know this year that the league will be very competitive and we will try to give the best for the club.”
