“End of an era” for Zoran Tosic. At the age of 37, the Serbian midfielder, formerly of Lamia, announced his retirement from active action, with Fthiotou essentially being the last team of his career.
In the past, Tosic played for Partizan Belgrade, Manchester United, Cologne and CSKA Moscow.

As a child I dreamed of playing for Partizan, Serbia and Manchester United and I was lucky enough to make my dreams come true at the age of 21. godi. From Banat and Partizan to Manchester United, Cologne and CSKA Moscow. Back to Partizan, then Taizhou Yuanda, Tobol and finally PAS Lamia.
Many trophies, victories, “ups and downs”, but the love was always there. Thanks to my family for making this trip possible. I thank my coaches, my teammates and everyone who has been with me over these 20 years. I am especially proud of the ten years I have been playing for my country, Serbia. I always appeared for the national team with a special desire. Finally, a big “thank you” to the fans of the clubs where I played, I always felt real support.
I’m leaving football, but football still remains my greatest love and passion. See you in another role.”
