Treated… top of Liverpool by Salah!

by

At the top of the Premier League “stepped” the Liverpool! The “reds” left with a force, but a big one, as the game developed, a double from “Molino”, prevailing 2-1 of Wolves and in conjunction with another Manchester City loss earlier, they climbed the 1st place of the rating! Whether they stay alone there will depend on whether the excellent Aston Villa travel to Ipswich tomorrow (29/09, 16:00). In the scoreboard, however, it becomes one loss with the end of the 6th game!

At Wolverhampton, the first half was bad qualitywith Liverpool finding it difficult to create threats for the home of the “wolves”. At the same time, of course, he was not even threatened. But while the two teams seemed to go to the locker room with a relatively dead 0-0, the most… outsider player spoke! In the 2nd minute of stoppage time, Zota produced a magical cross from the left, with Conate to fly into the heart of Wolves’ defense, “writing” with a powerful header the 1-0 for the “reds”. That, in fact, was it his first league goal since 2021who moved from Leipzig to Liverpool, and while he has scored in all other competitions!

The same… off, however, the second 45 minutes also started. Wolves could not respond, with Liverpool on the other hand showing they wanted to leave with one professional victory from “Molino”. But something like that, especially in the Premier League, you pay for it. In the 56th minute, Konate went from nice to fatal, making one tragic mistake in defense, with Ait Nouri to make it 1-1, angering Alisonwho shouted at the French stopper!

In the end, however, the solution was given by – who else – the Mohamed Salahwhich in 50′, of course, he has missed an opportunity that cannot be missed! Be that as it may, while the talk about the future of the 32-year-old in the English port flares up, he continues… on fire, after hitting the penalty in the 61st minute, won by Zota from Sementos, he reached 4 goals in this year’s championship (he has and four assists) and shaped the final 2-1sending his team Arne Slott at the top! This, we recall, was Liverpool’s 5th win in six league matches, having only lost at home to Nottingham Forest two weeks ago.
