On Sunday, the General Assembly of SEGAS

On Sunday, the General Assembly and the elections for the selection of a new SEGAS Board of Directors were postponed, as announced by the Classical Sports Federation. On Saturday, a quorum was not reached and therefore the General Assembly is postponed to the next day, as stipulated by the law and the statute.

The venue is the “GRAND HYATT ATHENS” hotel (115 Syngrou Avenue), “PARTHENONAS” Hall (arrival time 9 a.m. – start of work 10 a.m.).

The agenda items are as follows:

1. Election of the chairman of the General Assembly.

2. a. Report of the Board of Directors’ proceedings from 1/1/2024 to 27/09/2024. Approval and discharge of the administration.

b. Financial and financial statement of income – expenses from 1/1/2024 to 27/09/2024.

c. Audit Committee Report for the period from 1/1/2024 – 27/09/2024 and exemption of the management from any management responsibility.

d. Approval of report and balance sheet and release of management from any management responsibility.

3. Election of two regular and two substitute members of the Electoral Committee, which, under the chairmanship of a judicial representative, will conduct the elections for the election of the president and members of the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and representatives to the EOE.

4. Proposals for the appointment of a Board of Directors consisting of the President, twenty regular members and five alternates and an Audit Committee, consisting of three regular and two alternate members.

5. Election of one regular and one substitute representative of SEGAS to the HELLENIC OLYMPIC COMMITTEE (EOE), as provided for in Law 2725/99 (see Article 24 par. 4) and in accordance with the Statute of SEGAS (article 7 par. 4 item b) and the statutes of the EOE (as it was sanctioned and entered into law by article 13 of law 4639/2019 and as it is valid and formed with its amendments, i.e. article 22 of law 4726/2020 and 409 of law 4957/2022).

6. Amendment of code of conduct.
