Vezenkov: “Nothing is judged in September – Why not Panathinaikos-Olympiacos in the Euroleague final?”

After the match, Bulgarian forward talked about the fact that this cup is important but doesn’t mean anything in the “economy” of the season as it is still very early, while he referred to the season starting in Euroleague.

To win the Super Cup: “There are fluctuations because teams are not at 100%. We tried, we did a pretty good job, but we were fighting and we won the cup. You remember how last season started, with Olympiakos winning the first two cups and Panathinaikos the other two. He has nothing to say. It is the first, it is important for our self-confidence. Tomorrow starts a new day, so heads in. We have two top teams, why not make the final between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos”.

For being decisive in the end: “I stayed focused and coach Bartzokas left me in the fourth quarter. We are happy, we are moving forward, nothing is decided in September.”

For the start of the season: “There couldn’t be a more difficult start. We have to be focused.”
