Panathinaikos inaugurated the new OAKA by sweeping Bayern!

In the second quarter, Booker made a layup and Grant hit a mid-range shot to make it 27-18. Lessor reached double figures, but Bayern responded with three points from Voigtman and Obst for 47-34.

In the second part, Kendrick Nunn went to the line and hit twice for +15 (49-34). Booker responded in kind (49-36), before Lessor nailed impressively to make it 51-36. The Frenchman won almost every battle with Booker, while Juancho nailed in transition for the first +19 of the game (57-38). THE Brown scored his first basket, but the Panathinaikos defense was “exposed” after Bayern returned to their own side, with Napier making it 59-42. Edwards made a foul shot to make it 59-45, but Lessor answered with a difficult basket to make it 61-45. THE Napier won three shots and put them (61-48), with Weiler-Bubb temporarily cutting it to 10 (61-51). Juancho immediately sent the difference to 13 with a three-pointer (64-51), but the Bayern continued to push and cut to 64-55 with the Brankovic. The third period ended 66-58 after Da Silva’s 3-pointer.

In the last quarter, with two shots by Brankovic, the Germans got even closer (66-60). After a terrible “stop” by Grigonis in Obst, o Yurtseven took shots and put them in for 68-60.
