“Steel” Panathinaikos AKTOR won the derby against the valiant PAOK with top Nan

PAOK was competitive against Panathinaikos throughout the match, they came very close to making the first surprise of the season but in the end the talent of the green players and the almost flawless Nan they gave the victory to the guests (93-96).

The match:

The “black and white” closed the third quarter at +6 (70-64), scoring 28 points in the period, against a lazy and very misguided Panathinaikos.

In the last quarter, however, the class and experience of the Panathinaikos players came to speak. Lessor and Papapetrou they were pivotal with decisive baskets, at the moment when o Kendrick Nunn he kept on… raging. Grigonis and Grant with consecutive three-pointers they sent the difference to +7 for Panathinaikos and 1:20 before the end they seemed to clear the match for the “clover”.

Cruiser answered with a three-pointer for 88-92, while Reynolds’ two-pointer made it 90-92 40 seconds before the finale. Grant with a long shot made it 90-94, which was to be the final stroke. Mitoglou with two shots and Papadakis with a three-pointer in exhalation formed the final score.
