Officially at Chania the Socrates Ofrydopoulos!
After his resignation Dimitris Spanouthe Cretan team found the replacement of the Greek technician in the person of Mr. Ofrydopoulos. Let’s remember that the 51-year-old technician left his bench a few days ago POT Herakles.

PAE CHANIA announces the start of cooperation with coach Sokratis Ofrydopoulos, who immediately takes up his duties.
Born on October 26, 1973, he rose to prominence in football in Kallithea. During his football career, he played as a central defender for over a decade in the First National Division (now Super League 1) with Ionikos, PAS Ioannina and Asteras Tripoli, where he finished his career in 2008.
He started his coaching career in Alimos, then worked in PAS Lamia as an assistant coach, in Atromitos as a coach of the infrastructure departments and then sat on the benches of well-known teams as a head coach. He was the coach of Panachaiki for two terms, followed by a short period at Levadeiakos, while from 2021 to 2023 he worked at AEK taking over the B team in the Super League 2 championship. In March 2022 until the end of that period, he was also service coach at AEK coaching the Union for 12 games in the Super Legaue 1 championship.
In December 2023, he took charge of Levadeiakos, which he led to win the Super League 2 championship and promotion to the top division. The beginning of this year found him in P.O.T. Herakles, from where he left on October 5.
