THE Galeano was born on September 7, 1996 and left Libertad in August. In January 2022 he had taken charge of the academies and in September 2023 he was promoted to the first team, taking the place of Daniel Garnetto who took charge of the Paraguayan national team.
Libertad under his guidance won 4 titles (Clausura 2023, Copa Paraguay 2023, Supercopa Paraguay 2023 and Apertura 2024), but was removed due to the bad start he made this year.
He has worked as an assistant at Sol de America, Sportiva Trinidense, Deportivo Liberacion and River Plate Asuncion.
As a first coach Galeano worked in 2019 for 2 months at Fulgencio Yegros, then he went to River Plate as an assistant and official and then to 2 de Mayo where he stayed on their bench for 9 matches.
Galeano’s partner will be an old acquaintance of PAS Ioannina. This is his compatriot, David Meza, who had played with PAS Ioannina in the 2008-09 season on loan from Atromitos.
