Her second victory in this year’s Basketball Champions League was celebrated on Tuesday night (10/29). AEK Betsson BCwho, thanks to her excellent defense for most of the match, left Latvia and her home country with a great double Riga (69-80) for the 3rd matchday of the competition.

After the end of the match, the 33-year-old service technician of “Union”, Andrea Vicenzuto, stood on the very good image of the team at the back of the parquet, while he thanked both the players and the Dragan Sakotawho was absent due to the coronavirus, for the opportunity he got tonight to coach as the first coach.

Andrea Vicenzuto’s statements in detail:

“I want to thank coach Sakota first. Even when he is not here he helps me. He has been very close to me since day one. Thanks to coach Sakota and the players. It wasn’t easy at all. We came from a difficult schedule, we made some mistakes. It wasn’t easy, but the players did the job. We showed a different face and that was mainly for the players. We only let Riga score 69 points and that is important for the rest of the season.

I wish the Riga players the best. They can beat better teams. If Shannon continues like this he will mature. Good job by the staff. We told our best players to be careful. The shots he took from the three point made us change our defense. He is a very good player, talented. It was not an easy night for us. We did a good job.”
