Two golds and a total of 13 more medals for Greece at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship

The formidable Greek team continues its incredible presence at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Dio Aorakia in Heraklion, Crete.

Our country won 13 more medals tonight, bringing the total to 39 in the U21, U18 and U16 categories.

Two of today’s medals were gold in colour, with the National Anthem played twice. The perpetrators were Emmanuela Leledaki in her 70s. fighting in the U18 category and the duo of Balla and Balaska in Duo Mixed U18.

Our country in total medals reached 2nd place (4th in the world, in the table based on gold rankings), having the same number of medals as Kazakhstan and three less than the United Arab Emirates (42).
