The video sent to the Central Refereeing Committee for Brignoli’s phase in the Cup game with Aris was also shared by PAE AEK in the media. The Union, in this video, has included similar phases to that of their goalkeeper wanting to support their position that the decision of Sidiropoulos to show a yellow card to their footballer is correct.
In total there are six phases in which the players do corresponding marking are penalized with a yellow card. In the first of these, in fact, there is again a decision by Sidiropoulos in which the Greek referee decides to punish the footballer who makes the marking with a yellow card.

We remind you that the KED and its head, Stefan Lanois, for Sidiropoulos’ choice to show Brinioli a yellow card, have reportedly decided not to appoint the Greek referee in any other game of the championship until the end of the first round.
A decision of the KED which caused the reaction of PAE AEK which in its letter to the Commission expresses its question – among other things – stressing that “you punished a referee because he did the right thing-Why did you leave unpunished those who made glaring mistakes against us?”.
