Postponed due to bad weather qualifiers of the Formula 1 Grand Prix held in Brazil.
The procedure was scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon (2/11), but the very heavy and continuous rainfall made the condition of the Interlagos circuit very difficult, with the organizers deciding to postpone qualifying for the Sunday morning (3/11).
Of course, with the weather forecast stating that the bad weather will continue, it is not yet certain that the qualifiers will take place, while we should mention that in the event that they are not held, the starting order of the race will be determined by the results of the last session free trials (FP1).
We remind you that the match is scheduled to start at 19:00 on Sunday afternoon.
The official FIA announcement:
“Sao Paulo GP qualifying tests postponed. The decision was made due to the lack of visibility caused by the intensity of the rain we have experienced in the last few hours. There are many spots on the track with standing water, which makes the conditions dangerous.
As much as we would all like to see racing action on the track, the safety of drivers, team members, volunteers, officials and spectators is our top priority. A decision on the start time of the Qualifying Trials tomorrow morning will be made as soon as possible”.
UPDATE: QUALIFYING HAS BEEN POSTPONED
