Marchoukos: “Heracles’ announcement is offensive – We cannot threaten players and sack presidents”

Regarding the announcement of Heracles: “This is an announcement that primarily insults the Herakles club, our category and of course the presidents of the clubs, who have put in a lot of effort this year to make everything run as smoothly as possible. We can’t sack them all. It is not possible to threaten the football players-employees of a team in such a way. Does Mr. Monemvasiotis really have any reliable information about whether there are delays in payments to other groups? When we speak, we must know what we say and how we say it.”

For the championship sponsor: “We are very close to an agreement and there are many chances within the month that we will have announcements.”

For the cooperation with SKAI so far: “We are quite satisfied. This year we wanted to make an opening to the free market of channels and not wait for ERT, where various people accused us of taking the money of the Greek taxpayer. SKAI has invested in advertising, the visibility is great and as a league we have made a good start with the income, always expecting to do even better in the future”.

For the course of the championship: “It is too early to draw conclusions. We see that with a win a team can be in the playoffs and with a loss in the playoffs. From the first moment we wanted Super League 2 to be competitive and we are happy with the development of the league so far”.
