Konstantineas in the trial to SKAI: “Friendly in Toumba, the relations between PAOK and Olympiakos are cordial”

At Lawsuit against SKAI hosted the former referee, Petros Konstantineas, who, among other things, commented on the refereeing in Panaitolikos-Aris and also the Toumba derby.

What he said in detail:

For Panaitolikos-Aris and Manos Garthia’s disallowed goal: “Unfortunately he didn’t count Manus Garcia’s goal because Sifuentes doesn’t commit any fouls in the center area, that’s clear. I disagree with Tsimenteridis’s decision and Lanois’s opinion on the disputed phases of the Agrinio encounter. Also, Panaitolikos’ goal did not count because the home team’s player was exposed.

The referee had a difficult game to manage and I believe there was no guile in his decisions. I am not on any committee. Call Mr. Gagatsi and Mr. Tzorgzoglou and ask them how he was evaluated and how Lanois is evaluated. The Frenchman was generally accepted.”

For PAOK-Olympiakos: “PAOK and Olympiacos control the EPO. In Toumba it was… friendly. Relations between the two groups are now cordial. I am in favor of these relationships. In the past, you remember what happened in PAOK-Olympiakos and Olympiacos-PAOK games. Let’s not forget that PAOK also had good relations with AEK. I would like Aris to star this year, just like every year we see a different champion.
