Iraklis: Risk of expulsion from the championship by decision of EEC

New danger for KAE Iraklis from the Professional Sports Committee. After an investigation, it was found that Thodoris Drakopoulos is neither chairman of the Board nor has any institutional role in it, but nevertheless he acted as such by signing contracts and other acts. The team now faces a serious risk of expulsion from the Stoiximan Basket League.

EEC will send the file of Iraklis to the Prosecutor of the Criminal Court of Thessaloniki with the accusation of stealing a false certificate (possibly other violations that may occur), accusing him of cheating the Commission.

In detail, the Professional Sports Committee states:

It emerged from the investigation that the alleged President and Managing Director of KAE IRAKLIS 2017, is an extra person, used by Theodoros Drakopoulos, to act for himself, due to the obstruction of article 3 par. 1 L.2725 / 1999 as in force, (Criminal Record).

Therefore, the Committee unanimously decides that, in addition to its decisions of 23.09.2021 and 12.10.2021, by which it did not issue a Certificate of participation in KAE IRAKLIS 2017 for the 2021-2022 season, due to the proven debt to an athlete of the team, which resulted from a provisionally enforceable decision of the Court, (article 4 par. 4 par. OEM is not entitled to perform these duties. (article 3 par. 1 L.2725 / 1999 as in force).

Also because it emerged from documents, requested and submitted by the OEM, that the aforementioned A.A.E. deceived the Professional Sports Committee, in order to obtain a Certificate of participation for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons, these documents, which are of a certain date, are forwarded to the Prosecutor of the Criminal Court of Thessaloniki for the act of Robbery of a False Certificate. arise, for his own actions.
