“Kosovo players were eating pizzas before the suspension of the game against Romania was announced”

According to the Romanians, the Kosovars had made the decision not to continue the fight much earlier than it was officially known, and had the same arguments.

Journalist Emanuel Rossou reports that the guests have just left the field they ate the pizzas that were waiting for them in the changing rooms, which they even left messy.

“The final whistle was blown an hour after they had eaten”he claims.

While Romania’s players and staff were kept waiting on the pitch for more than 1h at -2°, Kosovo’s players ordered pizza and treated themselves in the locker room, before deciding not to return to finish the match in Bucharest.
