Kostas Konstantinidis is officially at the “helm” of PAOK!

Change in the technical leadership of its Women’s football department PAOK!



The recent defeat by AEK (3-0) was the “swan song” of Thalis Theodoridis, who left the bench of the “two-headed team of the north”, with the former technical director of the Greek national team, Kostas Konstantinidis, to take over the position of coach!

PAOK, and the women’s football department, PAOK Morris, announce the start of cooperation with the coach, Kostas Konstantinidis, for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season.

Born on 25/02/1984, Kostas Konstantinidis is a graduate of TEFAA Thessaloniki, holder of the UEFA B diploma and has two Masters in sports psychology and sports science.

He started his coaching career in 2005 at Doxa Eleftheriou Kordelios, where he stayed until 2009.

After that, he followed a two-year (2010-2012) with the historian Odysseus Kordelios. In the four years 2012-2016, he was the coach of the Kanonierides, having at the same time the role of technical director for K16 and K18.

The next stage of his career was Nea Genea Asvestohori in 2016, where he stayed until 2020.

On his part, Mr Kostas Konstantinidisspeaking on the club’s website, expressed his joy and the great honor he feels for taking over the technical leadership of PAOK, stressing that he will do everything for the team to achieve its goals.

“It is my great honor and pleasure to take over the technical leadership of the PAOK women’s football team. I firmly believe in the talent, drive and dedication of female athletes and am committed to giving my best for the development and success of the team. Our aim is not only to stand out on the pitch, but also to promote women’s football, inspire young girls to take up the sport and create an environment of cooperation, respect and continuous development. I thank the Management for their trust and I invite all the friends of the team to stand by us”.

We remind you that earlier in the day, the “two-headed man of the north” announced the cooperation solution with the previous coach, Thali Theodoridis, thanking him for what he offered to the team.

“PAOK Women’s Football announces the termination of cooperation with the previous coach, Thalis Theodoridis.

He wishes the coach, who last season won the championship and the Greek cup, good luck and every success on a personal and professional level.

At the same time, he announces the end of his collaboration with the former assistant coach, Thanasis Dalianas, and the former gymnast, Stergios Komsi, to whom he wishes them continued success and every personal success.”
