No… the presence of Donald Trump finally brought a charm to Elon Musk, with SpaceX’s Starship “gently” landing, according to the company, in the Gulf of Mexico.

SpaceX failed to repeat, under the watchful eye of the new US president, the Starship test flight that on October 13 managed to “catch” the booster rocket on the launch pad with mechanical arms (the so-called “chopsticks”, i.e. “Chinese sticks” ).

Donald Trump along with the founder and CEO of SpaceX were on Tuesday at the SpaceX launch pad in Texas and watched the rocket launch.

The Super Heavy rocket launcher washed ashore in the Gulf of Mexico while the Starship remained in orbit for about an hour before plunging into the Indian Ocean off the northern coast of Australia.
