Pavlos Dermitzakis was born in Kavala, (June 29, 1969). He started his coaching career at Ergotelis (4th national team) in the 2001-02 season, managing to win promotion for the team to the 3rd national team.
He continued to Atsalenios, which he also promoted from the 4th to the 3rd National Team. He achieved promotion with Diagoras from the 3rd National to the 2nd National in the 2007–08 season. He continued in the second national team with Diagoras, but on November 30, 2009 he resigned and in January 2010 he took over Panthrakikos in the Super League. PAOK followed, where he succeeded Mario Beretta.
In January 2011 he reached an agreement with the management of Asteras Tripoli. On October 31, 2012, he once again assumed the technical leadership of Panthrakikos in the Super League.
In 2013 he had a change from the technical leadership of OFI, while in September 2014 he was on the bench of Ergotelis, the club where he started his coaching career”.
