Aris: “DEAB has a selective sensitivity and judges with double standards – We are not going to bend”

Angry reaction from PAE Aris after imposing a two-game suspension on the football team.

It is unimaginable and it gives us second thoughts that with too much ease the DEAB closes Kleanthis Vikelidis for two games, depriving PAE ARIS of significant income and the majority of our fans the right to watch our team in the matches with the A.E.K. in the Cup and Atromitos for the championship.

It is clear that DEAB has a selective sensitivity and judges with “double standards”, because in other stadiums this year (football and basketball) there have been many more extreme incidents, but it was satisfied with a fine-caress.

The DEAB does not convince any Greek sports fan that it operates with impartiality and that it renders justice with its decisions. We would say the opposite.

PAE ARIS was the first to show its determination, when it identified and banned for life from Kleanthis Vikelidis the two fans who had delinquent behavior in Peristeri during the match against Atromitos.

How can a PAE check if among 20,000 fans, who had EXEMPLARY BEHAVIOR last Saturday, there were 2-3 brainless?

We feel anger at the penalty, but also sadness at the same time because such decisions ruin football.

We have understood that… we are disturbing with our presence in the first places of the standings, but in any case, be sure that if you have any plan to destroy us, it will fail as well as all the previous ones.

We are not going to bend this time either.
