Levadeiakos announced his first winter transfer.

The Viotia team filled the gap he left with the departure of Kyriakos Papadopoulosannouncing Maccabi Netanya’s previously key central defender, Joel Abu Hana.

This is a 26-year-old stopper who has great performances from important leagues, as he started from Bayer Leverkusen, while among others he played for Kaiserslautern, Zorya and Leia Warsaw.

The contract he signed will be valid until the summer of 2026.

The announcement in detail:

“PAE Levadeakos announces the acquisition of international Israeli central defender Joel Abu Hana, with a 1.5 year contract.

He was born on 22/1/1998 in Troisdorf, Germany to an Israeli father (hence his Israeli passport) and a German mother. He has been an international player with the small national teams of Germany (U19, U18, U17), making a total of 20 appearances, while he then competed in the Israel Men’s national team (6 appearances).

He took his first football steps at the great Bayer Leverkusen, followed by Kaiserslautern, Magdeburg and Fortuna Köln. He then moved to Ukraine for Zorya with whom he also competed in the Europa League groups. He stayed there for two years and his next stop was Poland, where he played for Legia Warsaw and Legia Gdansk. Last year he had a busy season in Israel with Maccabi Netanya.

In our team, he will compete with No. 4 on his jersey.

Joel, welcome to the Levadeiako family, we wish you health and many successes!”
