Responded to the movement of members of the Panathinaikos A.O. with the announcement of Amateur Panathinaikos!
A few days after the filing of the document for convening an extraordinary General Assembly regarding the termination of the Botanic contractthe management of the club, with an announcement from, explains the reasons why the request was not considered and why it cannot be accepted.
In detail, the announcement of Panathinaikos A.O. :
“Following the letter in question, we inform you that on 18-11-2024, Mr. Dimitriou Kyriakos and submitted the letter in question, with which the President of the Association is requested to take the necessary actions in order to convene an extraordinary G.S. (in accordance with the provisions of article 27 of the Association’s Statute) regarding the complaint of the 22.05.2022 contract between PANATHINAIKO A.O. and the Municipality of Athens (the relevant letter is attached HERE).
The deposited letter was also accompanied by a list of 1,708 names of natural persons of alleged members of the Association. Please note that this list only contains first and last name and – for some of these people – patronymic, matronymic and A.M.K.A..
In addition, it is not accompanied, as it should be, by the signature of those persons who are considered to be members of the Association. It is therefore obvious that any action related to the verification of identity and authenticity that the Association should in principle carry out cannot be carried out.
Based on the above, the relevant request cannot be considered, let alone accepted, as lacking, prominent, the formal characteristics that it should have, according to the written provisions.”
