It could be characterized as up to derby… stressed and sweatythe match between West Ham and the Wolves. And the hosts at London Olympic Stadium they were the ones who smiled (2-1), even though the last few days have been terribly scary after Mikail Antonio’s incredible car accident.
The latter was constantly in the minds of his teammates and they made sure to ease his pain and offer him joy with the victory they secured against the “wolves”. THE Suchek in the 54th minute with a low hanging header he did it 1-0 for the “hammers” and dedicated his goal to his unlucky teammate who luckily got out of his wrecked car alive on Saturday afternoon.
Wolves with a nice move by him Doherty and projection low found a way to equal to 1-1 in the 69th minute without having really threatened up to that point, however, West Ham would see captain of offering all the points and holding up Antonio’s jersey towards the podium.
In the 72nd minute with a nice effort o Bowen he found himself inside the area, brought the ball to the left, made the deflected shot and scored the final goal 2-1 which saw Lopetegui’s side move 9 points clear of the danger zone, where Gary O’Neill’s side remain…
