Past by Hercules is from the morning of Thursday (19/12) o Facundo Bertogliowith Gerai’s administration announcing the “divorce” of the two sides at the request of the footballer.
The Argentinian ace, who has been playing in our country since 2015 with Asteras Tripoli, Ari, Volos, Lamia and Iraklis, announced that he left the Thessaloniki team due to a very serious personal problem, which forces him to return to his homeland, putting parallel end of his football career.
His statements in detail:
“Friends, unfortunately the time has come to say goodbye to you, as due to a very serious personal problem I am facing I have to return to Argentina and at the same time stop playing football.
I have been led to this decision after mature consideration and having previously exhausted every other alternative.
I sincerely thank Mr. Panagiotis Monemvasiotis and everyone at Iraklis for the understanding they showed and I am happy to have completed my career in a great team like Iraklis. I wish him all the best for the rest of the season and I’m sure he can reach his goal. It’s worth it.
I thank my teammates, coaches and everyone I met and worked with at Iraklis this season, as well as of course those I was with at Asteras Tripoli, Lamia, Aris and Volos.
Greece will forever be my second home and it is a special joy and honor for me that from the first moment I came you made me feel like my home.
