Aegaleo is ready for the Final 8 of the Men’s Basketball Cup. The team from the western suburbs defeated Papagou 87-81 in the second semi-final of the UNICEF Trophy held at “Makis Liugas” in Glyfada and advanced to the final of the competition, where they will face Megarid on Saturday, with the winner participating in the F8 of the Cup men’s basketball along with the top seven teams in the Stoiximan GBL first round final standings.
The winners overturned -8 in the first period, tied at halftime and in the fourth period with individual scores of 29-23 reached the qualification.
The leaders of Alexis Papadatos’ team were Crnits with 19, Papadionisiou with 17, Aggelis with 13 and Vassilopoulos with 12 points.
