The 30-year-old superstar has collected 1,710,630 votesmore not only in the East, but across the league, as a distant second follows o Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets with 1,422,121 votes.
Above one million votes Jayson Tatum (Celtics), Kevin Durant (Suns), LeBron James (Lakers), Karl-Anthony Towns (Knicks) and Cy Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder) have also taken.
The public vote influences the selection of the starting five for the All Star Game by 50%, while the vote of the NBA players and the media count from 25%.
The next update on the public voting process will be on January 9.
