Juancho: ‘Delighted to stay here with Matias – We want to leave our own legacy’

THE Panathinaikos was emphatic and swept Virtus Bologna with a score of 111-90, with Juancho Hernangomet to be one of the leaders of the match.

The Spaniard, who officially renewed his partnership with the “clover” for two more years, expressed his excitement to stay at the team with his friend, Matias Lessor and his desire to leave his legacy to Panathinaikos.

At the same time, Mr Juancho he repeated that the goal of the “seven stars” this year is to win everything.

In detail what he said:

For contract renewal: “I am very happy that I have renewed for two more years and will be with Matias (Lesor). We want to leave our own legacy. We started the year with a win, we are concentrating on the next game, we are going step by step”.

For last season and this year: “Last year I had some injuries, it was difficult to adapt. I feel more comfortable now, I’m happier now and with the people, the team, the city… Last year we didn’t do too badly, I hope this year we can do what we did last year.”

For the goal: “Our goal is to win everything. Anything other than the Euroleague will be a failure for us, we are working for it and that is our goal.”
