“Teams from Greece have contacted United about the loan of Anthony”!

With her winter transfer period has been officially opened for a few days, more and more publications will see the light of day regarding the Greek teams.

Specifically, with his post on “X”, the British reporter revealed that several groups, among them Greek and Spanish, have come into contact with the Manchester United for the loan of Anthony!

However, it does not mention nor how many, or which are the teams of the Greek league who have approached the “red devils” for the acquisition of the Brazilian winger, who, however, everything seems to be leaving “Old Trafford” this January.

This season, the 24-year-old international with the “Seleção” barely counts twelve innings with one goal in all competitions, having quite limited time in Ruben Amorim’s rotation.

From the summer of 2022, when he transferred from Ajax to United for the amount of 95 million euros, he was never able to acclimatise to the conditions of the club and the Premier League, as a result he never justified the club’s huge investment in him.

In total, in his 2.5 years at United, he recorded 94 appearances with 12 goals and 5 assists in all events.

However, his case remains extremely difficult for any Greek team which may have him on its “radar”, as we are talking about a player at a young age, a huge talent and who, given the facts, will want to remain at the highest European level and compete in one of the top-5 leagues of the continent.

A number of clubs – including from Spain and Greece – have made contact with Manchester United over a loan for winger Antony. It’s understood United will consider offers for the player. Antony joined in 2022 from Ajax for £82m. He hasn’t started a League game this season. #MUFC
