The leading athlete of 2024 in the voting of SEGAS was Miltos Tedoglou for 2024, due to winning the gold medal in the long run at the Olympic Games in Paris and at the European Open Track Championships in Rome.

Katerina Stefanidis emerged as the top athlete, having won the silver medal in the pole vault at the European Athletics Championships in Rome and participated in the final of the competition at the Olympic Games in Paris.

In the K23 category, the successes of Dimitris Pavlidis in the USA in the shot put counted, while Elina Tzengo, with her participation in the women’s javelin finals in Rome and Paris, took the lead by a small margin over the finalist of the European Championship of the Italian capital in the 200 meters, Polynikis Emmanuilidou .

In the K20 category, Andrea Mita, fifth in the Lima World Javelin Championships, and Adriana Bondioti, who missed out on a place in the final in the 3,000m steeplechase, respectively took the first two places.

Finally, in the U18 category, the public chose the walker Panagiotis Saltis, who was sixth in the European Championship in Banska Bystrica, and, as in 2023, the European shot put champion, Maria Rafaelidou.

The winners in each category will be awarded at the annual SEGAS celebration next month.
