The police forbade the presence of Partisan friends at OAKA

On Thursday night (09/01) and despite the important absences of Sluka and Brown, the Panathinaikos AKTOR continued his excellent performances in the Euroleague, winning with a score of 96-84 for Partizan in the packed OAKA for the 20th matchday, thus reaching the five consecutive victories in the competition!

With today’s publication, the Serbian Media, “sportske.net”, revealed the reason on absence of Serbian fans from yesterday’s match and while the “black and white” of Belgrade had procured a total of 200 tickets.

So according to the publication in question, the Greek police were the ones who canceled the movement of the Partizan fans to Athens, as it was estimated that there would be a security risk, since at the same time the PAOK-AEK match was taking place in Toumba for the quarter-finals of the Betsson Greek Cup.

In fact, the fact that the fans of Zelimir Obradovic’s team they would not travel to our country by charter flight, but individually, was one more suspensive element of the final decision of the Authorities.
