by

In the previous matchday of the championship, his illness Thomas Nikos brought his immediate partner to the bench of Colossus in a survival match. And he was the… 24-year-old Andreas Gavalaswho led the Rhodes team to a great 96-57 victory over him Amarousiou making a dream debut.

A few days later, young Coates spoke to Man to Man Powered by Stoiximan about her experience of and the how he lived this unexpected debut. At the same time, he commented on patience which is his main “motto”, the advice he has received, but also the route of so far.

In detail what he said:

On whether he was nervous about his debut as a head coach: “I had thought about what would happen if I lost. What would people say? We must see both sides of the coin. I might have been a “little one” that the Colossus should go with him in such an important match.”

For AEK where he worked at all age levels: “Teams like AEK are a very big school. You see up close how an organization works that has the pressure of results, that chases success”.

For his goals: “The important thing is to make the dreams a little simple so that you have a smile inside and then return to your goals. There are so many factors in life that can contribute to you achieving something or not achieving anything.”

For his own dreams: “The immediate dream is to achieve our goals with Kolossos. The distant dream is for me and the people I love to be happy.”
