The World Indoor Championship starts with … a medal from the locker room for Greece!

Greece is in Belgrade with a six-member mission, for World Indoor Championships which will start today and will last until Sunday.

The team consists of Miltos Tentoglou, Rafaela Spanoudaki, Elisavet Pesiridou, Costas Douvalidis, Irini Vassiliou and Nikos Andrikopoulos.

At 12:45 her effort will begin Peace of the Kingdom at 400m. which will make its debut at the event. The final of the race is scheduled for Saturday at 20:50.

Today will be thrown into the battle of the triple o Nikos Andrikopoulos , who received an invitation from the World Federation, for his first appearance in a World Championship. The race will be a direct final, at 13:10.

All eyes, of course, are on him Milto Tentoglou, who after the gold at the Tokyo Olympics, wants to confirm his supremacy in Belgrade as well. The match is scheduled for 20:05, with the athlete George Pomaski being the undisputed favorite.

On Saturday morning, at 10:50, her effort will begin Elisavet Pesiridou at 60 meters with obstacles. The qualifier is scheduled for 10:50, the semifinal at 19:15 and the final at 22:05.

His fourth participation in a world indoor will be made by Costas Douvalidis at 60m. Obstacles. In the only Greek presence in Sunday’s program, it takes place at 11.05 in the morning, the semifinal at 18:05 and the final at 20:30.
