Pesiridou excited: “Before the race I wanted to cry, I ran for my brother”

«The truth is that after what happened I have changed a lot. I said that my priority this winter is my family. Even if someone told me to stop, I would stop. But from the moment I came back and went to the stadium, I forgot a bit. When my brother met, he told me I had a sister who was doing championships. And then he started to understand and he told me you do track and field, you do obstacles. In fact, it was February and he was telling me, you now have races».

For her performance today, she said: “Based on the training I did this season and what I ran here, 8.30 for me is a success. From the beginning I said that I do not care much, because it was a difficult year. I think I fought it. I liked that I reacted and left today. Certainly technical errors were made. It is a track that I did not step on. I also had a lack of matches. This, however, gave me the strength to continue».
