The 30-year-old (05/08/1991) ace, will join the staff of the handball team, from next summer.

Ivan Matskevich started his career from Arkatron, where he played until 2011. He followed a great 4 years in Minsk, with which he won the Belarus Cup in 2012 and the Challenge Cup in 2013. With Minsk he also played in the EHF Cup, with Steaua Bucharest to add him to its roster in 2015.

In 2017 he made the big leap in his career, returning to Belarus on behalf of Meskov Brest, winning 4 Championships and 3 Cups, while this year he is with his team at the top of the Championship. He also played with Brest in the Champions League halls, making his presence felt with big appearances, reaching once in the Quarterfinals, twice in the “16” phase and once in the Group stage. With Brest, he twice won 3rd place in the SEHA League.

He is a key member of his country’s National Team, with which he regularly participates in European and World Championships.
