Greece’s top sporting event, PPC Tour of Hellas, begins, the fourth year of its revival, on April 1st in Patras, with the presentation of 18 professional teams and both national bands.
Viewers in the port of Patras where this year’s team’s presentation will take place, as well as those who watch through domestic and international broadcasting, will have the opportunity to see very big names in Greece for the first time in Greece!
It is worth noting that this year’s round two World Tour teams Jayco Alula and XDS Astana, one of the 18 professional plus two national teams, those of Greece and Cyprus, participate.

Diamantopoulos: PPC Tour of Hellas opens new horizons for the sport of cycling and our society
The President of the Hellenic Cycling Federation, Vassilis Diamantopoulos, said this year’s round:

National Men’s Road Racing Team
The National Men’s Team, the Hellenic Cycling Federation, began its preparation in the face of its participation in this year’s PPC Tour of Hellas, setting up the bar of expectations.
Our first international participation in 2025 was in the Tour of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates, where its young athletes left the best impressions of an event that gave great pedal names!
The athletes of the national team have shown that they are in good shape even though this race takes place early in the season!
Our National Station, before its big appointment at PPC Tour of Hellas, were the International Cycling Events & the International Tour of Rhodes, which is held on the island of Knights, where our representative complex is currently participating with eight athletes:
George Bougla, one of the best athletes in the team with international recognition, who competes with the Spanish team Burgos BH, and during 2024 participated in many matches abroad and in Greece, making excellent performances, culminating in the 2024 Olympic Games.
The world champion and champion of Greece for many years, Pericles Elias, has a timeless presence in the National Team, and thanks to his valuable experience, he unites young and old athletes in a spirit of team that opens their racing horizon.
Nikiforos Arvanitou, the champion of Greece 2024, who in addition to fantastic performances in Greece and abroad, along with his national team, Nikolaos Drakos, were spearheaded in several races, working harmoniously with the rest of our athletes.
In our national team is Miltiadis Giannoutsos, a very tough athlete with strong strengths who starred in the two previous PPC tour of Hellas events.
Villa Emiliano, who lives in France and fights with the Asptt Nancy jersey, will give the tour of Hellas for the second consecutive year, trying for the best possible result, along with the other cyclists of our national team.
Nikolaos Manthos, a talented rider, who, after a great presence in 2024 in the teenagers, participates in the men’s category, on a course of the National Team in the National Team in 2024.
The composition of our Greek National Team is complemented by a great champion, Polychronis Tzortzakis, originally from the island of Crete, who has been present for years uninterruptedly to all the major international appointments of our national team, inspiring many younger, athletes.
