The presence of the President of the World Federation of Taekwondo, Dr. Chungwon Choue in Greece, it was news.
At the dinner held on Friday night by the powerful man of the Taekwondo world to ELOT President Christos Manolis and the Secretary -General of the Federation and the Second Vice President of the EEA, Michalis Muroutsos, the possibility of a great deal of assignment was discussed.
For this reason, the Federation administration will travel to July to Korea to claim the 2026 World Championships and Koras.
The “present” at the dinner given by Dr. Chungwon Choue was also the president of the Taekwondo European Federation and Vice President of World Taekwondo, Thanasis Palios, Jeongkang SEO, WTE Secretary General and ETU Sport Director and ELOT Board Member Yiannis Muroutsos. Mr Palgos helped to take this debate and give the approval of the world championship.
Dr.Chungwon Choue, who reminded us that within the week he attended the opening ceremony of the Historical 144th Synod of the International Olympic Committee (ILO) in Ancient Olympia, donated to the President and the Secretary -General of ELOT, the Olympic Games Zone. The three men renewed their appointment for Korea, next July, where the World Taekwondo Congress will take place.
