The gunmen killed Four workers from Punjab province and four police officers in southwestern Pakistan yesterday Monday, according to authorities, as the area has recently been living in the pace of attacks of separatist rebels.
Armed motorcycles shot and killed “four workers from Punjab” who were driving, Ali Gul Imrani, a local official, told the French agency.
Police officer, Muhammad Asgar, confirmed the information.
Although there has been no responsibility for energy so far, in recent months guerrillas have multiplied executions with summary workers from other Pakistan provinces, especially Punjab, who consider people of the army, in war with the secessionist movement.
For decades, velvers have complained that they are marginalized by the state. Officially, 70% of the residents of the province live below the poverty line, although the subsoils abound the minerals and hydrocarbons, which mainly exploit Chinese companies.

In August, fighters of the Balutsistan Liberation Army organization (BLA) killed 39 people after examining the identities of passengers on various roads.
As of January 1, according to a countdown by the French Agency, nearly 180 people, almost half of whom were members of the Security Forces, were killed in actions of armed organizations fighting against the state in Baluchistan and neighboring Haiber.
The Islamabad Security Research and Studies Center estimates that 2024 was the most bloody year after nearly a decade in Pakistan, with over 1,600 dead in attacks, including 685 members of the security forces.
