DHI OEM Lavrion announces its deal with athlete Chris Payton Jr. For the rest of the 2024-2025 season.
Chris Payton Jr. Born on 4/11/2000 in Bloomington, Illinois, he is 2.01m. and struggles with the same fluency as a power forward and center.
After two seasons at Division II’s Indian Hills University in NCAA, he competed for a season at Pittsburgh (2021-22) with little participation and then completed his college career in Kent State, where he played for two years.
In the 2022-23 season he had 6.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1 cut in 16 minutes in 34 matches.
In the 2023-2024 season he played 28 games and finished with 12.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 cuts in 27 minutes on average, shooting 38.1% on three-pointers.
In his first professional year in Europe, he first signed to Hungarian Veolia, where he made very good performances with 15.7 points, 9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 steals in 15 appearances, shooting 41.4% on three -pointers (12/29).
He then signed the Cypriot AEK Larnaca, with which he had 10.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals on average.
