Thousands of smiles, colorful bicycles, excited children and parents, music, education and entertainment centered on the bike!
Parallel actions by PPC Tour of Hellas 2025 made a dreamy finale on Sunday, April 6, at the crowded Syntagma Square, with the completion of the great world event!
The very positive of this year’s round were the parallel events by the Hellenic Cycling Federation (EEA), both in the Olympic Village and the Constitution, where a cross -country race was held in its calendar!
Important is the loud message of inclusion, given by the demonstration race of the “John” club with handles for people with disabilities and tandem!
The organizing committee of the race, Cycling Greece, is aiming through the event to get in touch with the bike more and more citizens of PPC Tour of Hellas 2025.
The director of parallel actions, Thanos Georgiou, designed a modern and accessible program mainly for the pupils and students who flooded all the stations of the round.
The contribution of the organizing committee of the Ministry of Sport, “Sports, Olympic, Paralympic Education, History, Dimitrios Vikelas Values” was also important.
This unique trip was completed in downtown Athens! Deputy Minister of Sports Yiannis Broutsis emphasized: “Thousands of children in all cities passed by PPC Tour of Hellas 2025 and participated in the unique parallel activities give us great joy and optimism but also fill us with great responsibility to make a world better for them!”
The children lived unique moments with anomatizer, clowns, face painting and specially designed parallel actions, such as an original “HERO 2030 Skills Track” cycling track, the floor “from house to school” cycling snake and interactive cooperation, speed and traffic games.
Full of brick and cheer were the artistic inspirations of the children who unfolded their talent in the theme of the bike and the environment.
In addition, the children were informed of first aid by the volunteers of the Greek Red Cross, the value of pure sport by executives of the National Organization for Doping (EOKA).
At the heart of PPC’s specially designed kiosks, with e-bikes and entertainment activities in the uniquely designed fun zone.
All this dressed in wonderful music through the concert of Alcibiades Konstantopoulos & Lefteris Eleftheriou. The musical choices on the decks by Maria Frangakis and Nikos Markoglou. The melodic journey to the Cyclades from the band of Yiannis Barbaris. The amazing Lila that raised the fun across Syntagma Square and of course the big draws with rich gifts.
The Deputy Minister of Sports, the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Isidoros Kouvelos, the French Ambassador Loranes Auer, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Britain Matthew Lodz and a large number of Olympic Athletes and Many Olympic Athletes.
Syntagma Square took the baton from the Olympic Village that welcomed the 120 cyclists at the finish of the 4th ETAP. The emblematic Olympic Square, where the PPC Tour of Hellas 2025 Awards ceremony and the Eliminator Pan -Hellenic Mountain Cycling Championship, was flooded with the positive energy of the children who were thrilled by parallel actions. In the Olympic Village were Deputy Minister of Sports Yiannis Vroutsis, the President of the Hellenic Olympic Olympic Association Voula Zigouris, the Olympians Georgia Elliaki and Voula Moraitidou, who are also President of the Epokochis, Vice -Mayor of East Attica Vassiliki Kavallari, the Vice -Mayor of Sport – Olympic Ideal Vasiliki Miloussi, the Mayor of Acharnes Spyros Brettos, APCOX Director Petros Galanis.
The dance team of the Municipality of Acharnes gave a distinctive color to the traditional costumes and traditional dances from East Attica.
